Is this going to end up being rare? Like a John carter or prince of Persia. Does anyone know if this us going to have a big or small release,

Anyone know why the release was not on the 31st as stated in the OP.

These were in store on the 28th I believe.
:dunno:
All the boxes I received were tagged with a sticker "Do not sell/rent until 12/31/12".
Guess they didn't care... strange because normally, their system won't allow a purchase...

I walked into my local FS at 10:30am this morning and the shelf is totally empty!!! Turns out the store opens at 9am coz of X-Mas hours, and the staff said one guy came in and take all of them.... I browsed around the store and luckily found one snugged under a stack of DVDs on a cart (u know, the cart that staff uses to transport the stock). Otherwise, absolute ZERO copies right in the morning.

This one might be a potential rare steelie in the long run.... or we can see a bunch of returns when the "guy" cannot sell them all in a few weeks...? who knows. I am just happy I get my copy.

The "guy" was probably Drum or Biscuitnoir, buying up for the group buy on here!

Slips would not have done anything for me, I buy a steelbook to show off the steel, so I throw them out. Otherwise I may as well be collecting amarays with slips. IMO

I hear ya but there are many people that do collect slipcovers along with steelbooks so for them it would be awin win unless they never open their steels which you would need to do with such a release to fully appreciate it.

And imo the only reason to keep them sealed is if and when you decide to sell them. Although I must admit I'm not planing to sell mine and I do keep alot of mine sealed too.
I must be just as crazy as the rest of you. :hilarious:
