I don't think they ever said how many editions this was limited too?

Only 6 copies left now!

I received mine yesterday and thanks to Amazon's Filthy packaging, the box got damaged . So, asked for replacement. I don't know what's up with their packaging standards :(

Mmmm...quite a pity...

Anyway love my 500 numbered edition...lol

Cool. That's nice one you got there. Mine is 1845 but unfortunately, it got damaged. I have asked for a replacement and I would love to see it numbered 2000

Mine is numbered 2809, got it delivered to my Mum's address in France so thankfully packaging was satisfactory.

Ok, so that means that it has already crossed the 2000 mark :ohno:. And another thing that I've noticed is that the steelbooks from Amazon, delivered within Europe do not usually get damaged in transit (damaged before packaging is a different story, though). So, maybe that's because either the distance is less or the shipping carrier handles it carefully or both.

Because most of the international shipments from Amazon.fr or de get damaged due to their frustration causing packaging :(.

Anyway, congratulations bigfub

That watch is lush but I couldn't condone that price when I already have the uk steel

You should really consider this deal. The steel has a super gloss finish and feels built like a tank. The lenticular magnet is gorgeous and one of the best uses of a lenti ever. You have to hold it in your hands to truly appreciate this beauty. Very close second to FS version. UK steel pile of crap compared to this.

€26 for the whole package? That's a steal for this steel (I bet no one ever said that before).

If you don't have this steelbook, do yourself a favor and get it. The high gloss and the most amazing magnet (making the best use of the lenticular effect) make up for the lack of inside art and the printed back.

Correct me if I'm wrong (though I will cut you if you do), but I think Looper is the only high gloss steelbook with lenticular magnet to have ever been produced (other than Walmart's Man of Steel pre-order magnet, and until Kimchi's Le fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulain, that is) ?

Undoubtedly one of the very best of the bunch.

Indeed i shal correct you :p
The Hobbit FR was also a full gloss lenticular steel ;)
Also i think Titanic DE and FR lenticulars are also gloss :D

I warned you, I'll cut ya !

Not sure about Titanic being full gloss ;). I don't have the lenticular edition, as I had already bought the regular steelbook (the exact same one without the magnet) - I couldn't look at myself in a mirror if I had spent €30 for a lenticular card :D. Anyway, I don't have it with me now, but I don't remember it being glossy (if it's anything like the other Fox lenticular steelbooks, it's definitely matte).

But Hobbit is from Warner so technically it is indeed possible that it's glossy. I should have known that one :p. I'm kind of sad I didn't pick up that one - I had countless opportunities but I always thought "that's nice but I'll hold off until the extended version" (which ended up being a jumbo, which I now almost regret purchasing, but I don't double-dip so no lenticular Hobbit for Bunky Bunk :( - unless I see it in store at €10-€15).

Fun fact : M6, the distributor of this glossy Looper lenticular steelbook, is owned by Warner Bros. France, another provider of a glossy lenticular steelbook. So the apple didn't fall far from the tree :).
