The last Target Exclusive X Men Metal Packs all had this bulge in the back that I assumed was some kind of security chip and ruined all the Metal Packs I had bought, got lazy and forgot to return them. Lucy had the same bulge and I just had to open it and all it was is that sticky goo that you can remove that was stuck to the J Card. Turns out I got a Mint copy and learned a lesson, guess i'll try and grab another copy tomorrow but I'll probably have to get super lucky it sounds like. Boy do I feel smart!
Yep got it today, $24.99 + tax CAD and they had 10 more on the first shelf I saw.
I think this Target edition is better than the WWA.
I really prefer the subtle scribbles, text, and mathematic equations on the US version that you can see in a certain light.

It would have been perfect if the just didn't have the title on her face. If they had just placed the title bottom left in one color...
The only thing I didn't like was the quality.. There were about 20 copies in my local Target and on the bottom left corner, there was a paint chip. The spines were also a bit loose so every time you squeezed you could hear it.
I'm very impressed with the Target SB. I think it's better than I expected and I kinda prefer it to the WWA. Now the bestbuy lenti is definitely worth getting. Nice day picking up LUCY...

After first hearing about the gloss finish on the steelbook, I got really excited and then grab me a copy. I know I'm in the minority but I was underwhelmed with the design and actually the gloss finish. It is not as pronounced as one would like it to be. In fact, somebody from the other forum couldn't even tell if it was glossy. Also some members are doing a side by side comparison with the WWA release. Well, if you think about it, the WWA actually has a wrap-around cover already which the target does not have.Another thing, the title on the cover. Why splatter that all over Scarlett's face. Somebody as attractive as she is, why would you want to cover her up, I do not understand it.Anyway, the world wide art has a better design concept over all. To simply put it.Looking forward to getting the future 3D release for this movie.This has Blufans written all over it. Can't wait.
Will probably return. Not a fan of this artwork. WWA art is much better
They did a one time only 3D screening in France. But I have not heard of any plans to release in a blu ray or steelbook in 3D. Plus- the amount of time they had to make a quick 3D conversion for a one time showing means it was a fast/crappy conversion. Well done conversions take time, and there is no shortcut.

The 3D release was for China. They did a one off showing in France, but it was on general release in China with 3D as it was them that requested it. Hence Blufans would be a prime company for releasing a 3D special edition. [emoji3]
Good info! I would love to know if the China 3D release was planned that way, and if they (therefore) spent time with the conversion.

This was a hell of a blind buy. Super happy with both US exclusive releases! Amazing!

You can't even call that an opinion, that's an affirmation. Also, it lacks an argument that explains how you got to that conclusion. Affirming that "white is better than black" just because it's your personal preference is s... silly.

There you go, THAT is an OPINION.
And it's not about whether I like (or agree with) your "opinion" or not. It's about how you post them as if they were facts (that's the impression I get anyway) and they're NOT.
