Whats the new GB system?
If you don't mind me asking

It acts more like a shop. So when you sign up you have to pay straight away, but then it's secured and done and it's all automated making it MUCH easier for the GB host to track who has bought what (you can set the limits etc and the system handles everything). I'm not sure if I like the idea of having to pay for the GB item straight away as the idea for GBs with me is that you can sign up with a deadline a little further away giving you the flexibility to pay knowing yours is secured. The other way round is that you wait until you can afford it and sign up say a week later from the opening time. The downside to this is, the edition that you were after may now be sold out.

Please note that I will NOT be using this for Machete.

50 copies of each bud you'll be fine. Kimchi GBs have never sold out straight away let alone selling out at all

It helps having a deadline so you can sort out what needs to be paid and when

So is this just for you or all GBs across the grid? So for fac & blu fans too for example or just certain retailer GBs like kimchi?

Blu fans are the only one I'll join GBs for tbh but that new system will screw me over I think

Well with the automated GB system it allows the Host a lot of flexibility and easier at doing their job saving them countless hours of back and forth PMs over addresses and what have you.

It will also allow the User a better tracked experience and also less PM times etc. A user can log in and track all the GB he or she is in, etc.

In regards to paying straight away each host again has control and they have the ability to list all the details of their specifics on their item pages.

1) Paying straight away means less people backing out or not fulfilling their commitment which has left many GB Hosts stranded many times before.
However, this isnt to say that a GB Host couldn't throttle their qty to then allow people further time to pay. For example sake, say I have 50 qty to sell I could put up 30 on Go Live date, 10 the next week and 10 the next making it still 3 weeks to pay from when a GB went live etc. So if your host is used to working with you or others in these instances then its not to say the ability isn't still there. fyi.

We are rolling this out in stages and this feature will get better and open to others as time goes on. Give it it's fair shake and time, and the more you dig into it the more I think you will enjoy it.

Ah ok, sounds a bit better

I like the idea of a host being able to put certain quantiles for a 2 or 3 week period, that's cool and gives others that may miss out a chance and not put themselves out of pocket or in debt for a week or until they get paid etc

Really not sure like the sound of that idea @cooey @Wreck , i like the idea of having a set date for payment which give's you time to sort funds out just my opinion
