I was worried sick after reading several posts here about defects and glad to say that I received mine today in MINT condition. This steel is gorgeous and love the black :):):):)

It also arrived in less than a week after dispatch. Good job Zavvi!!!

When zavvi came back in stock after release date, I reordered one more copy. I am glad to say it arrived Flawless, Although looking at it just looks flawless still sealed. I have to say there was so much Hype about this release, so much built up, don't know if it's because I didn't open it yet to see it in all it's glory, but I am underwhelmed in this steel. Even though gorgeous, I was expecting a little more wow factor(I may see it when I open a copy)...

so just hoping now that the new secret blufans release will be indeed MAleficent, we need a fabulous Asian release of this Movie and no one better than Blufans to achieve this.

for those of you who got damaged copy I feel for you it really sucks. I know the feeling

Wow, just opened this one, and it's definitely the Steelbook of the year for me so far. Just need to watch the movie now. Don't think it can compare to how nice this Steelbook is, lol.

watch it without expectation, it's just a MAgical movie, if you like Disney movie, I don't see why you wouldn't. saw it twice once on 2D and once on 3D and it's stunning, the special effects, the scenery, the storyline etc...I actually was taken a bit aback that the steel was so simple, from the pics it looked stunning, I can't wait to open a copy but waiting to have them all so I chose to open the less of the perfect ones.

I would have a technical question though, how come steelbooks like Zavvi's MAleficent(is so light) and for Example CA2 Taiwan(is so heavy...), they both have slip covers in cardbord 1/4 slip, inside the little paper inside don't make much difference, both have 2 disks but the CA2 is heavy compared to MAleficent which feels much lighter. I read somewhere that there could be different layers of metal a steelbook can have made by Scanavo, would that be the reason ?

A top tip will also come in handy after polishing any silver work total class those :).

Well the film IS AS GOOD AS THE STEELBOOK. Watched it last night FANTASTIC movie.

@Bluprint

YES Angelina Jolie WAS made for this role :thumbs:.

What a brave Lady undergoing Surgery , fighting for Human Rights raising awareness for Cancer . Understanding that most people undergoing treatment of any kind are not all as fortunate in cercumstances as her :hilarious: :notworthy: :notworthy:.

Anyone keeping it sealed buy an amray to ENJOY a hugely entertaining movie .

Out of the celiphane her eyes gleam like mother of pearl a real life iridescent glow :notworthy:.

Still waiting for my copy, had to buy off zavvi outlet on ebay for £27.99 but still nothing after a week :(

That's because of the flyers and promo booklets stuffed inside. Don't simply assume that the Steel book magically becomes heavy. [emoji6]

Got mine in the mail today. There was a clear dent on the package where a stack of boxes or a heavier box had rest, and I was afraid there was a dent. It's fine, a ding in the back.

As much as the white version we all paid for looked good, the embossing on this is amazing. The horns and title are embossed while her face is debossed! I can't say that I've ever seen multilevel embossing.
