Man Of Steel has been announced for the UK. Artwork is as the German Edition.
It will be 2D/3D BD.
Pre order goes live this coming Friday (23rd) and release date is 2nd December.
Looks to be a store wide release.

I ordered thru zavvi since they seem to be the only one specifying 3d. I email amazon and they Confirmed that no 3d was included, to just to be on the safe side I would order through zavvi, at least until amazon clears that situation up

Could it be possible that Zavvi have it wrong and that infact this UK release does not include the 3D disc. They are the only UK retailer who are stating so, so I'm beginning to think this is the case.

Having a 3D disc would probably explain the high price point for this though.

The original information for this release (from Facebook I believe) stated that it would include the 3D disc. Base.com are also stating that this is 3D. There's no harm in preordering whilst we wait for further details.

I expected a steelbook with the symbol before I'd even seen the movie. it's a no-brainer. Will be giving this a miss though...as beautiful as the steelbook is, the film was very weak and lacked any real emotional depth or heroism that you associate with the character of Superman.

Amazon has now updated the order page. It's now showing as having 3D!! Hope the price comes down. Will be cancelling Zavvi's order now.

I'm glad Amazon UK is releasing 3D now for this and Pacific Rim, unlike its Star Trek into Darkness. I think the price will drop to £20 or less like Pacific Rim. So it's good to keep a pre-order.
