Aronofsky in the Running to Direct Superman

Black Swan helmer Darren Aronofsky has joined the list of potential directors for Warner Bros.' new Superman movie, reports Heat Vision.

The list includes Duncan Jones, Jonathan Liebesman, Matt Reeves, Tony Scott and Zack Snyder. The trade adds that Ben Affleck was also briefly in the running but he is reportedly no longer pursuing the job.

Aronofsky is said to be in active talks, though it's early.

Christopher Nolan and Emma Thomas will executive produce the film, targeted for a 2012 release.

Yeah, his suit will be Kryptonian. They will show him getting the suit in the fortress in the next trailer.

What would you do when the sequal comes out?

I loved the trailer, looks like Snyder has done a good job of putting supes back were he belongs.I'm sure the Batman fan boys are somewhere kicking themselves that Supes is back in business.

The sequel could be amazing or could be crap. I'll have to wait for this first,m sure the sequel will be just as good if not better. Star Trek is one of my all time favs and Into Darkness looks even better, so hopefully they have the same team for the sequel to MoS as well and hopefully a Justice League movie in the near future as well.
