I'm at Walmart right now and they have a magnetic pre order card with what looks like a steel on the back cover and front.
Promotion page indicates the pre-order is IN-STORE ONLY.

A slipcover with different art is also considered exclusive packaging. And by packaging that is what I believe they're saying. A cardboard casing is = packaging in MOST cases.

Hoping for a steelbook instead but let's see....Wreck is usually never wrong....

Comparing the last few Wal-Mart/Vudu pre-orders, the pre-orders indicated the following on the packaging:

The Hobbit-Blu-Ray Book
Oblivion--Metal Pak
Man of Steel--Exclusive Packaging or Exclusive Blu-Ray Combo Pack

Makes me wonder why Man of Steel is not described as a steelbook on the pre-order. It's early though, so anything could change, I guess.

Because it clearly looks like it's going to be a SLIPCOVER in the photo???

I'm aware of that. That's what I mean by G2 sized. But specifically I mean that a magnet is meant to magnetize to something, and more than likely that something is metal.

Don't get me wrong, I am totally in your corner and am really hoping you're right. I just don't want to get my hopes up until I have some concrete information, that's all. :D
