I pre-ordered the regular steelbook along with Pacific Rim. I like the little statue, but with all the other releases coming out, I can't afford to spend €100 on a small statue

Warner is shortchanging customers by advertising this as Ultimate Collectors Edition when they always release UCEs after the first release. There is going to be another release down the line with more extras or a possible different cut of the movie and other goodies.

I agree, I'd prefer more extras/a longer cut rather than a plastic figure. For me this would just end up being a big box that hogged shelf space. I'll wait and see what else comes up.

I guess the statue is the same, but it is not clear, if the French Version will include a steelbook.
