It could end up being a cool project. That spine design smells too much like Criterion though.
The Criterion Collection style spine.
Exactly what I thought... especially as it wraps around on to the back. Even the disc art on these remind me of Criterions, not that it's a bad thing though!

Nice idea for a new collection, but I'm really not liking the artwork on these first two titles... the colours on this are way too bright and don't represent the film well at all IMO.

I'm with @Noodles here. I like both movies but i dont like these designs very much.

Plus i'm gonna assume this will be their "premium" plain edition line . Since a lot of plain editions haven't been OOS recently. Also, these doesnt seem to be numbered (spine) so who's to say a plain version of these will not surface?

Kind of does. Yep.

The Criterion Collection style spine.

Yep. STILL is.

You, sir, have good eyes !

Whoa, look at The Blu Collection going all Criterion on us. I hope they like lawsuits. :hilarious:

Oh, really ? I mean, no-one else noticed any similarity to CC. Mods here truly deserve their title.

*prettu fu....g huge face palm*

It's not the first time Korea's pinched from Criterion... or more or less didn't bother to remove their brand from some older releases.

I kinda like the scanavo artwork on this release. Black and white would have made more sense for this film though. Still I can see why they fancied something more eye-catching.
