As stated before, I chose B but the more I see it, the more weird I think it looks. I think if the poll were run again now, that the 'None Of The Above' option would be in the lead, because we now know that it doesn't have to be any of these, whereas I at least, thought these were the finalised options when I voted.

Even if they were the final artworks, you had the choice to vote for multiple options. You could have voted for option B and None of the Above.

Yes, but if it's inferred as "these are the 3, but you can vote none of the above too", then what's the point of voting for none of the above if it's definitely going to be one of the 3?

Wow, that made way more sense before I typed it...

I don't like to say this, but I find the practice of letting us choose the artwork lame, whether done by Kimchi, Zavvi, or whoever. I always feel that the issuer should have thought of and come out with the best artwork, and we will just decide whether we want to buy it or not.

Giving out some poorly thought-out designs and then just go with the most popular choice is, to me, a quick and easy attempt by the issuer to cash in on the craze.

I think it's a good thing as it allows collectors to have an input. I would rather we had a say than they produced a title and everyone said they didn't like it. At least this way we can decide on which artwork we like the most. Not everyone will be happy with the choice but at least it will have been decided by us.

I do see the point. I'm just concerned that it would become an easy route for issuers to take instead of thinking and coming out with a really great design.

And if they do come out with a title that nobody likes, then it is their loss for not putting enough into the artwork to make it appealing. So the marketplace will ensure that issuers produce really good designs, and that is the best outcome for collectors. :)

May I say that the chosen "font" for the back is simply hideous to me?

It doesn't connect esthetically to the rest or is it just me?

Some memories are best forgotten looks like an amateur photoshop copy and paste.

But that's just my opinion.
