Looks awesome and Still the best version I’ve seen use all the films illustrations. Gutted I couldn’t afford it. And it’s massive, like a big book! Nice

So I ordered both editions ( 4K and standart). Weirdly i have received only 4K version.
Anyone received shipping confirmation for the standart Bluray version?

Waiting for mine but if anyone finds out the old “ do the Swedish bits have English subs”, be grateful to know

hi, the answer is yes the swedish bits have english subs. when you put the disc in, it gives you an option to select no subtitles or subtitles in english, and then the movie plays. there's no other menu besides that start up question, if you select subtitles in english then yes, it plays all the english and swedish parts with english subs. the movie looks so good, too. i love this edition personally.

Thank you! That’s great news, first 4K edition that does this I believe.

Does anyone know if this will come back in stock like the site says? Has anyone been able to order either edition since they sold out? I check daily on both editions and have not been able to get one, what i wonder is A24 going to make more and release a large supply or only restock cancellations.

There was no restock yet and nobody was able to buy them once they sold out. I suspect if they stated there will be a restock then that’s true. Their restock/reprint of Krisha happened years after it sold out though lol
They definitely underestimated the demand.

yeah, there probably will be a restock. who knows when? as stated above, Krisha took forever to restock but also the demand for Midsommar is way higher than Krisha so maybe they'll hop on it. i doubt it's going to be anytime super soon though, if I were you i'd just set up notifications for their twitter account and once it happens, whenever that is, you'll get the heads up.

You can request to be notified by e-mail when it's restocked. That's the easiest way to know when it's available for purchase again.

That looks SO good. It's a bit more subtle than other premium releases we usually get and I absolutely love it. Really regret not buying it.
Yeah, its really different. They are still talking about more stock and I would think they way they sold its likely. Most loved edition I have had for a while.

Finally it arrived – Midsommar Coffee Book…wait what? Just kidding. Latest Ari Aster film in Director’s Cut version for the first time on 4K in A24’s Shop debut in selling Limited Editions. What is cool that A24 is the studio that is behind the release of the film, so it’s nice touch that they had released their own film in their own manner. So what they come up with?

Amazing digibook edition unlike any edition of this type. First of all, its huge – tall to be exact. It’s high as 1,5 standard blu-ray box, so it’s not an easy item for a collector to keep. The best way is to keep it on the display or with other bigger size editions on the shelf. Size of it is the main shocking point when you open the delivery box. I was expecting DVD size, but when you see it for the first time your eyes are popping out. What is strange, when you have it in hand, its hard to have an impression that the size is inappropriate or something is wrong with it. Probably the effect of Coffee Book is playing a game with you.

The yellow-mustard or Hårga-yellow slipcase is sturdy enough to feel the premium power of it. It is covered in fabric or some kind of material or its just an imitation made from paper. I am not a specialist, but the fell is awesome again it’s great touch that makes this minimalistic edition, grow with every step you play with it. Inside the box, there is digibook with 62 pages featuring original artworks from the film by Ragnar Persson and a foreword by Martin Scorsese. Those artworks may have been seen in the film, but I don’t remember all of them there. I also have a feeling that not all those that were in the film are included here – but this is good motivation to watch it again.

Director’s Cut is longer for about 20 minutes and it’s first release in 4K. Earlier it was released on standard Blu-ray in some countries, but 4K was only for theatrical release. So it’s a good start for A24 in their physical media affair, especially that it sold out in few hours. What spices this more is that shipment for outside of US collectors, was not cheap – so it shows how much collectors appreciated this edition and the whole film by itself.

Planning to order this when it's restocked. How is A24's packaging. Is it worry-free like the Korean retailers or is it more like Amazon?
