Must admit, I didn't notice the music. I think I might have been asleep at that point!

Another thing that bothered me was.....

The whole point of the 'school' was to be a refuge for kids with deformities that couldn't fit in with the normal world. So why was the kid that could bring people back to life or the kid that could project his dreams there? Other than their capabilities they looked perfectly normal on the outside and could fit into society no problem as nobody would have been any wiser.....

Sam Jackson takes Miss Peregrin, makes a threat then locks the door.
Then the kids run all over the house to get weapons to prepare. So, he just locked "A" door? And didn't really lock them in the room?
Or - Sam Jackson and his disciples discovered they could reverse their curse by eating Peculiar's eyeballs.
HOW did they discover this??!!! ( eating children's eyeballs is kind of ******* specific!)
One of my favs - the kids dad is so irate when the kid first comes back. He says "you are not leaving my sight".
Kid gets away and goes back. When he comes back again to the real world, his dad is like "hey, what's up?". (Not angry, or questioning).
I have forgotten alot, but there are TONS of logic errors. REALLY BIG ONES.
How anyone O.K.ed this script is a huge mystery.
I mean, its like they were inventing the kid's powers on the spot as they needed them.
Or- the kid who is creepy with The hearts who reanimates his brother and makes creepy half puppet/half animals fight... Why is he there? Wouldn't MP know about his creepy sh*t and kick him out?!
Oh - you need him for act 3. (Lazy, illogical)

I know. I completely agree. I remember a lot more stuff annoyed me watching it. The dad was completely useless. And....

it was so badly done. They made a big deal about the dad going with him to keep an eye on him. Then half way through the film the kid takes off on this adventure and they never really follow up what happened with the parents.

Then at the end, the kid just gives up his life to go back. Not to mention they were supposed to age once they left their 'time bubble' thingy but when he catches up with them at the end after months of tracking them down, they've been on a cruise the whole time and they're perfectly fine!!!!!! WTF?!

They tried to cram a bunch of books into one film apparently and made a mess of it.

I was jumping into the FAC GB as a blind buy until I managed to see this by chance. Glad I did now.....

Dodged a bullet!
Last time I had a blind buy blow up in my face was LUCY (awful).
I think this was based on just one book, though. (I could be wrong).

zavvi announced this as "exclusive lenticular steelbook edition" but there is no lenticular on the copy i recieved.
anyone know more about this? Did not open it yet..perhaps lenticular is inside?

I never seen that been listed you sure you not got it mixed up with another countries release like Manta Labs etc
Where did you see the info about a lenticular from Zavvi as I not seen it mentioned when the release was annouced

That then is a typo error on Zavvi German website as the UK site and the other Zavvi websites never listed Lenticular in the listing
Why the German website got it wrong I don't know

thanks for answers, I also got an answer from zavvi now.
They wrote: "Thank you for contacting us regarding the missing Lenticular.
I am sorry to let you know that the description on site was wrong and this steelbook doesn´t have a lenticular with it.

And yes it seems this is only wrong (and still wrong) at zavvi.de page, did not check the zavvi.uk page before.
However its still strange that zavvi pop up with Lenticular in german description. :-/

Got mine on Friday. Nice looking steelbook. I liked the movie, but yeah it did have some plot holes and stuff that made no sense. I never paid all too much attention to the advertisements for the movie so for some reason I thought that was Angelina Jolie in the movie until I actually watched it

I was not crazy about the movie as well, it kinda fell flat for me. Despite that, I still am going for the FAC as the Package is very nice and this WWA I don't know what it is, it feels very peaceful when looking at it

Though it states Region B on the disc it does play on Region A. I can't speak for C though.
