I'm assuming all the releases will be embossed. Going to have to order me a second one from somewhere.

You can pre-order the German Tin boxset which contains steelbook and extras... might have the embossing on the Tin and Steelbook

The steelbook on its own without the unnecessary tin & lighter is one to go for, really no need to overspend for the extras.

I'm with you on that...I have outgrown those big tins case during the DVD days. I regret buying the Inception briefcase, the last oversize extra that I bought...sometime last year. I have no room for them to display so I ended up putting it in a box inside the closet LOL. I want my steelBOOK in a nice BOOK shelf stacking up next to each BOOK-like display :D

Remember EzyDVD Exclusive tins bud?? I had every single one of them back in the day :hilarious:
And these were 100x better than that IM4 tin, at least they had some embossing/debossing unlike the flat IM4 :p

What a waste of space and money lol, aaaaall gone now thanks god :D

wow my thoughts exactly. Inception briefcase was my last large movie item as well.

keep in mind this version has the extra blu ray disc i think. its a 3 disc whilst the play is only a 2 disc.
Maybe but what's so special about the extra BD, Play.com has the film and the extra features on 1 BD and the movie on DVD too, so nothing lost there, if this one has an extra BD it'll be to separate the movie from the features that's about it, personally "if there's no loss in AV quality" then I'd rather have both on one BD UNLESS the steelbook itself is different ;)

Yes the more discs the better but not necessarly in this case :p

the extra bd has extra features. it has the best buy exclusive special features whilst the play.com one only has a few of the special features.

aha now we talking hehe
I already getting two different versions Play & Chinese one, hmm should I get this too??? Not sure

should have gotten it yesterday! jb were having a 20% off sale so it was only $31... I didnt pick it up cos i bought so many other blus:D

Yeah I agree with DJ here. It's a lot more convenient to be able to access everything from one disc. If this is the case then I made a good choice going with the Play.com edition for the simple fact that I don't have to take one disc out and swap in another just to watch the special features. So long as the video and audio quality are not sacrificed.

Play.com :
Disc 1: Movie + some special features
Australia:
Disc 1: Same as play
Disc 2: more special features.

How much more special features are we talking here? I mean I like special features but sometimes I think studios go a little overboard with them and create another disc that will take you 4x as long to watch as the movie itself. By that time I've kind of burned out on the movie and it may just sit on my shelf never to be watched again. So, some special features is good, but some people want the whole world and that's fine too but just not my cup of tea is all. :)
