That slipcover looks amazing. Is the title and bluray logo on the side embossed ?

Yes. Title, Name, logo are all embossed

Got mine delivered today with Birdman... yet again, great steels and slips. Only thing is, for the first time, hold it a certain angle and the back is covered in loads of surface scratches.... still love it, but a bit deflated as Karel has been great at getting the same numbers for me and I don't really want to return it! Great slip, though.

Had the same issue with mine on the front of the V2. Loads of white specks under the cellophane and when opened quite a few marks to the slip.

Same here. Lots scratches on the back and quite visible when you turn the steelbook under light. I have already changed the back cover.

My V1 (direct from FA) arrived, much to my relief, today - yay!

After reading the above comments re scratches, I've had a look at mine and while there seem to a few faint marks on the back of the V2 steel, V1 is close to pristine.

My (as I'm now waiting on the Blufans one - ever growing) collection!

I don't if this has been addressed but I was wondering if the 3D card that was included with Version 1 was supposed to be like a lenticular or embossed or something? The one I got is flat and is basically just a typical post/art card.

Thanks for posting pics guys, I have pointed them out to Karel and he will try to contact FA again with these. Its always better to have pictures to show them so they can base their investigation on a solid proof.

... If you look really closely... and in the right light, or... gently run your finger across it, you'll see that the red 'Mission Impossible' is, and I quote, 'enhanced' (as in, slightly embossed!).

My V1 steel has some faint marks on the lacquer as well. Annoying but at least I'm not the only one.

I see people are beginning to receive their steelbooks from Carllenc. What does it mean if there's no envelope symbol by my name on the group buy list? I'd hoped that by choosing to 'Ship Now' that would cut back a bit on waiting time.

Just received mine direct from FA. There is something moving when I give it a shake, didn't plan on opening it so was wondering if someone who has can let me know if maybe its some of the goodies rattling inside or if it's a loose disc. Thanks ahead of time for any help

Maybe the cards in the steel if it first feel like a disc. I got both versions and live them. Had to go the eBay did trade route though
