Modifying SteelBooks

Ok I dismantled my first steel last night not that hard to smooth out the dent from with Russia with love. I got the dent mostly removed and it looks a lot better. I am going to add artwork to all my WB line steels but I don't think I will get as ambitious as you guys as it seems removing the spine is the most difficult thing so I did all my artwork without worrying about the spine. I do want to do one spine removal as the From Russia with Love has two slots but only one disk and I want to switch that with another steel and make the other steel a combo pack.
Just finished another one. The Shawshank Redemption. I can tell you, there's not a lot of content for this movie out there. Anyways I think it turned out pretty good.
Awesome job Acid, esp on that Sucker Punch ... wow! I dont fuss with the spines, pretty cool you are as I know it can be some work.
It takes about 45 minutes for inside artwork from start to finish. Really the hardest part is getting everything lined up just right and once you have that down it's 'easy squezy'. I think I could have done a little better on the LotR steelbooks but there ok I guess.

I thought about using that scene for my Shawshank went with another scene instead.
What scene did you use? I also thought about using the one where Morgan Freeman is walking along the stone wall and the big tree is at the end. It was a beautiful shot but I just couldn't work it just right around the spine so I ditched it. I still have the image in case anyone wants it.
That's pretty good Coronado. That was one of my screen captures but I just didn't use it. I had this one but for some reason it just didn't sit right with me. Somehow I couldn't get it just the way I wanted it.

IDK, the tree grows in the wrong direction and I always remember him on the right side of the stone wall. I tried these scenarios but none of it set right with me so I ditched it instead. I do have one where the warden, his first officer and Morgan are all looking down that hole that Andy tunneled into the wall. You should see the expression on there faces. Just the expression on their faces was almost worth it in itself. haha

Here is my first attempt at doing mods, I did mods for my 9 Best Buy Warner Brothers line steels, I think I may end up redoing the Shawshank and Sucker Punch though.
