Its a mix of 2 mate cant remember where I had them from so Ive uploaded them here

Quick job on trainspotting, converted to single disc & added artwork. The UK needs a release for this that is non-horizontal.
Hey guys, I started adding inside artwork a few months back through trial and error but recently started using the template on GIMP which makes things a lot simpler.
At present I am not using the spine but I am keeping them for when I pluck up the courage to add them as it does give a better finish esp if the image is a full on landscape.
Anyhoo here's what I have created so far. What ya think?

I use it to my advantage. I'm able to place the pics within the shells and it gives me enough play to center it and line it up just right. I don't ever see any silver side peeking from the sides because the plastic insert border rests in that place and covers it up. You can't really see through the borders that well so it works out perfectly.
Anyways here's my next one, American Beauty. You just have to admire that beautiful butt in the left hand side.

Hey guys this might sound like a dumbass idea but as you all know we are all very concerned with the paintwork on the steels coming off as this is why we wrap them.
Just a thought, has anyone ever tried to spray a plastic coat over a steelbook? I'm sure this would toughen up the durability of the said steelbooks paintwork would it not? I've used a can spray on paint etc before. Just wondered is all.

you would have to clean the steelbook with a wet rag first, any dirt or grease from your hands would result in bubbling and any dust will be trapped under the coating, what your talking about is clear laquer which is alot thicker than standard paint and takes longer to dry, i wouldnt try it unless your trying to make a custom steelbook, try using an unwanted,dented or cheap steelbook first

A quick case swap over for SPR and add disc 2.
I got my German Aliens in today thanks to John and Claudia. I didn't waste any time customizing my inside artwork though. What better photo than a picture of Newt talking with with Ripley.

What's a good way to print out a new spine and make it durable? I know somewhere buried in this thread is one post where a guy said he printed out new spine are but added some sort of clear plastic strip on top of it so the ink wouldn't rub off on your hands and the paper itself wouldn't get beat up over time...

Laminate it or layer it between two pieces of clear scotch tape.
