Hi All,

thought id have a go at modifying the interior of one of my steelbooks, infact my favourite steelbook only cause the movie is my fav.

so the steel book is:

so the original interior looked like this:

20130402_113556_zps087fab29.jpg
[/IMG]

and now it looks like this:

some people may be disappointed i havent done anything in the spine area but didnt have the quipment yet for doing that so maybe in the future.

I thought I'd have a go at modifying a few of the steelbooks I have that dont have interior artwork. So here are a couple of drafts of the interior of The Incredibles(DE) Steelbook. I thought I'd put them up on here to see which ones people thought were best. I haven't done the spines because they're just drafts but you can guess what they'd look like.

Also, I thought I should say, for those of you who don't have Photoshop, GIMP can do the job, and, more importantly, is free. You just do the exact same thing, copy your backdrop, highlight the black rectangles with the colour select(magic wand) tool and right click and choose paste into.
It's not exactly the best image editor out there but it's free and it does the job!

Edit: printing info mac
I'm using GIMP on a mac and found printing straight from GIMP a pain. What I do is to export the file as a .png, open in Preview and make sure scaling is set to 100%, then it prints out fine(at least for me).

PS Sorry if someone's already been over this but I didn't really want to read all 35 pages

Nice artwork choices. I'm actually doing a completely custom steel this week. Stripped down a crap steel and doing outside and inside art. Hope it turns out..

Yeah I'm not expecting great results, but we'll see.. I haven't done inner spine art yet either, but I've seen it on youtube and they make it seem pretty straight forward.
