As someone who hasnt ordered one of the Kimchi exclusives will i actually need to drag my backside out of bed at silly o'clock in the morning to order this or will i still be able to snatch up a copy when i rouse for work around 5 hours later?
With all the fuss its seems like it will sell out in minutes. can anyone help here? also Kimchi do ship to UK yes? sure i saw it in thread here but its a pain scrolling through all the pages on my mobile!

Can anyone clarify on when this will be live for preorder in EST. time (i.e. New York). Thanks!

I believe my calculations have it at 11 PM but I have been wrong before :p

9pm eastern thursday
8pm central
6pm pacific thursday

korean time is 16 hours ahead of the west coast and 13 hours ahead of east coast

if you really really want a copy, i suggest you to wake up. With how le grand bleu went, indications might point to another early sell out.

Anyone who waits for Zavvi is probably going to be disappointed: 2D only, spine slash, misprint of any embossing, and no slip. Zavvi hasn't exactly been taking good care of us lately in this regard. No extras either, though I would gladly do without them, because they increase the price of the item and the shipping, and it's not like I'm running to the children's store to get these sorts of knick-knacks anyway. The only extras that I like are the "making of" or "art of" booklets with overwhelmingly picture content and minimal, preferably English text (Avatar, Ben Hur, etc.).

The decision for me is whether the 3D disc, 1/4 slip and new art is enough incentive to make me want to have this sitting next to my FS/BB jumbo > reduced to standard > steelbook.

Just wondering what the appeal of the slip over the lenticular is. Is it purely the more limited number, or is there something else ?

I do realise its personal preference, but wondering if I'm missing something

You raise some good pionts that i cant disagree with but at least the price wont be $50.00 then add anther $$ for postage then depending where you are custom duties. It could turn out to be a very expensive steelbook.

For me, it's about seeing the steelbook. I will probably open it, and I plan on building some shallow shelves so the faces of the steels show, not the spines, and therefore I don't want the entire steel covered up. The Kimchi T2 is the perfect example of a steel that should have come with a 1/4 slip. If you keep it for yourself and don't open it, there might as well be an amaray in there. I only like full slips on amarays.

Thanks for this and I certainly see where you're coming from. In this case though I'll probably try for a lenticular just so it's 1 less thumbs up image to look at :)
