Pretty sure Royal Mail don't get involved with EMS shipments.

Well i suppose Parcelforce will be delivering it as it's Express 24, but tracking can be done on the royal mail site.
I did select the EMS shipment option as well.

Same here on the ems site, if you click on the tracking number from your account it will work.

Looks like the amount in the invoice didn't match the amount declared in the customs form

or

Customs was alarmed about the size of the package and volume of inbound parcels and decided to charge irrespective of whether it was marked as Gift or Merchandise.

My last parcel had the same status update Chris. It made it through without any problems though. So all is not lost
