Can anyone tell me if the bonus disc that comes with this release is the same bonus disc that comes with the sainsburys exclusive amaray release? Thanks in advance for any help :D

Don't worry, the only German text will be on the actual discs. Hence why there is no title anywhere on the SteelBook.
Cancel your Zavvi order with confidence.

No German text on the steelbook check the pictures below like blu-devil said only the slip and disc have German text

I bit the bullet. Cancelled Zavvi. Ordered German. For an extra £4.10, I can't say no.

got mine today also, and the 1 euro refund. if only royal mail could be that quick.

looking forward to this at the weekend in 3D

Orderd for £24. I had the zavvi one pre orderd for £21.95 but for the sake of £2.05 I can't say no

Contents from Disc 3 of the US version:

•Campus Life (Disc 3, HD, 15 minutes): Scanlon and company host this day in the life video journal detailing the team's day to day routines, from arrival to breakfast, creative meetings, animation dailies, voice recording sessions and beyond.

•Story School (Disc 3, HD, 9 minutes): A look at the craftsmanship and storytelling of the writers and story artists, featuring concept art, pre-visualizations, storyboards and other steps in the development of key scenes.

•Scare Games (Disc 3, HD, 5 minutes): "Pixar takes its fun very seriously!" Collaboration, unity and teamwork, courtesy of competition and gamemanship thrown in for good measure, all inspired by the Scare Games.

•Monthropology (Disc 3, HD, 6 minutes): Designing, diversifying, puppeting, animating and breathing life into the Monsters University students and faculty, using every trick, tool and technique at the Pixar team's disposal.

•Welcome to MU (Disc 3, HD, 6 minutes): Scanlon provides an overview of the prequel and its production, focusing on the university campus itself, from its front gate to its statues, architecture, grounds and history.

•Music Appreciation (Disc 3, HD, 7 minutes): Scoring Monsters University at Sony Studios with Scanlon, music editor Bruno Coon and longtime Pixar collaborator and composer Randy Newman.

•Scare Tactics (Disc 3, HD, 5 minutes): The art of the perfect MU scare, as learned, performed and utilized by the various animators tackling each expressive shot and scene.

•Color and Light (Disc 3, HD, 5 minutes): A before-and-after look at the film at its every stage of production, each step incorporating increasingly dramatic color, light, shadow and depth.

•Paths to Pixar: MU Edition (Disc 3, HD, 8 minutes): Scanlon introduces several team members, who share personal stories about the paths that brought them to Pixar and led to their current careers in animation.

•Furry Monsters: A Technical Retrospective (Disc 3, HD, 5 minutes): Comparing the animation of 2001's Monsters Inc. (using early computer-based hair simulation) and 2013's furrier, hairier, scalier prequel.

•Deleted Scenes (Disc 3, HD, 22 minutes): Four unfinished deleted scenes -- "Rivalry" (an alternate version of Mike and Sulley's meeting), "Recon," "Movie Night" and "Drama Class" -- with director's intros.

My copy arrived this morning, plus I got a €1 refund. Good times.
Works out less than £2.40 more than the bare bones Zavvi edition.

Silver SteelBooks are a nightmare to photograph.

Awful. Disney really dropped the ball on this. The front is a disaster but the back and inside could have been great, instead they just look a little dull.

Mine will be shipped with few other items around December. Hopefully the price drops further. I think this is the best Steelbook release of MU in terms of content as all 3 BDs are present.

I'm surprised you're going for this one. I would've thought this would be cancellation/send back for a refund material :hilarious:

Thanks for that igans, I am on the list for the blufans but I ordered this German steel for the back art (which sadly does look darker than the mock up)and the bonus disc.. I also ordered the sainsbury amaray exclusive just to get the bonus disc, as you've confirmed it has the same extras I can return sainsburys one when it arrives .. big thanks for the info:thumbs:

In hand I finally get the art.

I thought he was stuck to a wall, but he's stuck to the steelbook.

still not sure if I like it any more as a result.

Just got mine.. back art is great but the steelbook including inside art is dull dull dull it makes the movie look depressing lol. Good points.. my steelbook is mint condition and it comes with all the discs:scat:
