how does this card costumization work? i mean, do our names get PRINTED on the student card?

and if we don't e-mail tony the name, will the field on the card be filled with "STUDENT" or just left empty and blank?

i'm asking because if it will have "STUDENT" as a place-holder, i rather have my name on it, if it will be left empty, i rather have it this way, not to make it less valuable in the end.

if you do not send your name, that will be Mike or Sullivan printed on the name

Being that #3 is rejected...could that also mean BluFans might have the slip design? Luckily the actual steelbook coverart is different.

How does Disney not consider the third image "layered". It seems perfectly do-able to me. The image looks pretty much identical to the image in the U.S. Bluray release as well as the back of the steelbook. Also will the cards say: "In theaters June 21" they should remove that. I wish they would have chosen image #3. Makes the decision of buying this much tougher :(

thanks for the update Choi! too bad they rejected #3, but the final product still looks like it'll be awesome!

Not happy with the final choice of slipcover artwork because it is basically the same picture as the back of the steelbook. It's like the monsters posed in front of the gates for the group picture and then walked through the gates and once within were told to pose for one more group picture. Repetitious and unimaginative.
All this tells us is that Disney has people working there who are none too bright.

I'm totally gonna get my name on it! It'll be the only blu-ray I own that's personalized to me :) that just seems really cool to me

(this is all assuming I'll even be able to get a copy early Monday morning :ohno:)

Lenticular printing requires at least two, but preferably several, slightly offset images to create a 3D effect.

Based on Choi's comment, Disney didn't say that the image #3 isn't suitable for lenticular printing, they just said that they don't have the necessary images readily available:
Candidate #3 is rejected by Disney HQ because they said They does not have any layer image to make it lenticular. Disney HQ only approved Candidate #1.
