Hi Guys

I am relatively new to this forum so enjoy reading all the comments most lunch hours at work but I am yet to post many comments/replies to date. I too was one of the many people caught up in the kimchidvd server debackle on Monday at 11am and indeed had two copies of Monsters University in my Shopping Cart for 30 minutes frantically trying to complete the transaction only to be told they were all out of stock. I did email Tony at kinchidvd at the time but he has since confirmed the only additional copies up for grabs left are the Hi Def Ninja 40 copies available on the group buy option. Where as I appreciate I would normally not be able to use this option until I have made the correct number of posts, is there any way I would be able to bid for a copy or do you think there are more than 40 users already after one. I just really wanted one of these to go with my Kimchidvd copy of Monsters Inc but appreciate the only option I will probably have is to buy one of eBay for £100 or whatever ridiculous price they go for. Appreciate the answer is probably NO but just wanted to check before I reluctantly take the eBay option.

Many thanks

With only 40 available (and one per member) I suspect you may be out of luck as the only way to snag one will be to join the group buy and be one of the first 40 posters. Judging by the responses here I don't think that will take long to fill up.

I doubt you'll have to fork out £100.00 for a copy once they are sent out though, as I suspect (given the fact the only difference between this and the worldwide release is the slip) they won't sell for as much as you think. Time will tell of course.

Alternatively I'm sure multiple members here bought a couple of copies to sell/trade (sometimes at cost) so you can keep on posting and try to get one that way once you hit 30 posts and can access the trade thread.

Good luck to everyone who wants to get in with the GB!

Worst case scenario, you can always settle for the regular clear slip, which looks quite nice as well, and you don't have to fight the crowd for it.

The Kimchi exclusive lenticular version was sold out in the preorder stage. Due to some cancellations and payment issues a small amount is being offered to members who can access the trading section in about 12 hrs less a couple of mins. You need 30 non spam posts to access trading section.
