Ok here we go.....

1. John Rambo
2. Iron Man FS
3. I Am Legend FS
4. Iron Man 2 *** G1
5. Terminator 2 *** Black

All 3 figure sums.... beginning with a 2. EEK!

Over 1000 bucks on 5 steelbooks......MADNESS. EEK!EEK!EEK!

Not sure if it's really the most expensive (which is based on market value), but the most I've paid for a steelbook is Mirror's Edge for about $103.

Well, seeing as I only started buying Blu-ray Steelbooks this year I don't have any ultra-rare ones, but I guess my Scott Pilgrim is the only one that really stands out from my small collection of about twelve or so. I'm so glad I pre-orded that one, especially after missing out on Predators  . It will be interesting to see what happens to the value of Scot Pilgrim over the next year or two.

I haven't paid as much as some of you guys here, i've never hit 3 figures! The most for me is $90 for TDK/BB and $80 for IB Fnac.

i still have iron man and indie dvd steelbooks with the blu rays in,im happy enough with those :scat:

I didn't know IB Fnac has reached this value one day EEK!

Hey bidou, yeah i think i paid top end for mine. I am a big Tarantino fan and was struggling to find it so i paid that for it. I think i could maybe have got it for less if i would have waited.

The next time you need a french release, do not hesitate to shoot me a PM. It is easy for us to help other collectors "at cost" with each new release ;)

IB FNAC was still available in stores a few months ago. I'm pretty sure there's still some copies in a few little towns...

I'd have to say that T2 2.0 has cost me the most @ $130.

Years ago I paid $100 each for 2x I Am Legend sealed / mint, one of which I traded for Amazon.de John Rambo (mint / open).

:D :scat: :D

Thanks bidou, i appreciate it.

The most expensive I paid for was $130 for Indiana Jones and I could have it for $34.99 at the time of released ( I don't know how I missed it).

But I paid $99 for my sealed John Rambo last year from one of the Netherlands website. They've 2 and I ordered 2 but then they emailed me saying that there is 1 copy left. I think they forgot to update the price.:D

I almost pay $200.00 for Terminator 2 Japan V2.0 with empty promised, thanks to Andy (apsmith21:scat:) for assisting me in finding out he is a big time scammer. Without Andy I'd have paid $200.00 for the invisible and most expensive steelbook from eBay.com.

$140 for Iron Man (CA)

Also I had traded 4 steels for open Clone Wars and Indy 4. I never got Indy 4 and he says he never got two of the steels. So it basically cost me 4 Disney steels for Clone Wars. He has scammed others and is now banned on another forum.

I own only a few steels.. not sure which is the most expensive. I don't own any of the holy grails. :D

From my collection, I think the most expensive ones would be:

- Star Wars Clone Wars (NL), which I think is selling for around $80-$140 in ebay. I got it sealed for 23 euros (about $33).

- Death Race (DE) - checked ebay and I saw one selling it for $150. I don't know how much the real value is but I got it for $45 back then.

- Transformers ROTF (CA) - not sure about its value nowadays but I got it for $46.
