Finally, here's another cool picture just because: One of the first shots ever of the International Space Station near complete with all solar arrays (the last one was just added by the STS-119 astronauts), taken in space a couple days ago. Construction's been going on for 11 years, and of course the project's been underway for a lot longer than that. All that's left to add are another couple modules and a few additional pieces of equipment. You see, this is what the world can do when when its countries and best minds apply themselves to good purpose. Pretty damn cool, if you ask me. By the way, a little bit of trivia: There are more humans in space right now at once than there have ever been before: 3 on the station, 3 on the way there aboard Soyuz TMA-14 and 7 on the Space Shuttle about to come home tomorrow, for a total of 13. Again, pretty cool.
