I doubt if Zavvi read any of these posts, if they did they would have dealt with both the spine scratch problem and packaging problems long before now and it's not if the people on this forum have been subtle about the complaints in any way.....

It was meant to be a gag mate.

I keep hearing they are addressing their errors/failings - so I assume the old maxim 'The wheels of industry turn slowly' applies in spades.

I do know from experience that if you stand up to them over replacements, cutting out the photo rubbish, they just get on with it and issue you a collect plus label pronto.

To be fair to them the spine slash thing has also affected Amazon, and I often think it is some minimum wage (or less) kid in a warehouse deliberately slashing them to 'get his own' back on society or something.

Others have problems too Es for instance - it took me three goes to get a mint copy of Forbidden Planet - one had great gobs of glue all over it, so the finish was buggered, and the other was well bent!

I've currently got two to go back to Amazon due to damage. Overall it all makes the idea of walking into HMV and selecting your own a real joy
