I love the artwork, never seen the film though.

Me neither... got about 20 mins in once and ended up turning it off lol.

Mystery Men very much feels like a product of its time now. If you watched it as a kid back in 1999, you likely love it. If you're just watching it now for the first time, there's a good chance you won't like it (unfortunately). It's a spoof movie that tries to take itself as a serious superhero film and not necessarily a spoof film (it's not as obvious as something like Scary Movie or Not Another Teen Movie). It's a superhero film about the dumbest idiots imaginable becoming superheroes. If that pitch does nothing for you, it's likely best that you just avoid the film.

Me personally, I love this flick! I love the characters and the story. These guys were the superhero team in film before the X-Men arrived! And Casanova Frankenstein is still one of my favourite film villains of all-time.

This movie didn't hold up well over time. The type of comedy is outdated now. Don't get me wrong, I liked it as a kid, but tried to watch it again about 5 years ago and couldn't get passed about 40 minutes in

Depending on more details, finish etc... might go for this.

I honestly feel like I'm gonna go for it regardless. It's not a SteelBook that I need to own by any means, but I love that Paul Shipper artwork. I honestly think I want to start collecting all movies with his artwork.
