Just got mine, it's nice nothing spectacular.

Didn't notice until mine arrived that they've done away with the blue sticker and instead are now printing it on the J Card.

Yeah it is a nice clean steelbook. I like the way eone leave the spine uncluttered - no logo's just the title

I agree with this. Nice, clean steel imo... looks pretty classy with the gold and silver. :D

mine turned up this morning, yes is nice clean steel. The debossing done well works good with the gold as to spot glossing it is there you just have to hold at an angle in the correct light but it is there.

as too
Going to remain in stock for ages and possibly drop in price.

i would suggest your opinion is your own but if you think a 3d & 2d steel is going to sell for much less than £17.99, i think you will be waiting a very long time imho.

Basil

I think it said the artwork was unconfirmed at one point. If that is the final artwork now I'm sure it will look better than the ES Steel even with a printed back. I have already ordered this so I just hope this looks better in hand!

I am 99% sure it will not have a printed back, 98% sure it will have inside art and 95% sure it will be glossy .

Metropolitan is releasing Need for Speed in France, and if I trust their previous steelbooks, it will be great — from Metropolitan I only own The Lord of the Rings trilogy (those were some of their first steels, they have printed backs, they don't do that anymore), The Expendables & The Expendables 2 (there's coherence between the two, they go very well together), as well as the Dredd tinbox (if you ever have to own a tin, this is the one, it's gorgeous :)).

It's just too bad that in general they're doing steelbooks of... let's say "average" films :D. In 2014 they did :

- Crying Freeman.
- I, Frankenstein (3D + 2D + DVD).
- Nurse 3D (3D + 2D + DVD).

Now The Legend of Hercules (3D + 2D + DVD) is released next week, followed by Need for Speed (3D + 2D + DVD) on August 27.

So it the previous releases are any indication (they usually are), it will have very high gloss, back art, inside art, 3D and overall a very nice artwork, indeed miles better than the ES one :).
