That's a pretty good way to avoid character likeness...
But them adding the blur lines everywhere makes it look like it's in motion.
Because it's meant to be parked, you can't drive with the camera, radio, and sunglasses on the hood.

That makes a lot a sense but yeah adding the blur lines is certainly a weird choice.
Especially as the blur lines on the front wheel seem to suggest the car is travelling backwards...
I think they might actually meant to be the light beams from the left headlights but they really do give the impression of blur lines.
The artwork is a completely different genre from the movie

it would be a fantastic artwork for a racing game, but it's a bad choice for the movie nightcrawler
