The one above may just be a UK cover. I'd bet cash money the image you want is gonna be out there.
In fact, there will probably be 3 or 4 versions out there.
I don't doubt it. This is right in the Drive wheelhouse. We could end up with lots of options for this but I would love to see someone do something really special with it. Imagine PA using some of their funky printing techniques. Fingers crossed!

Would have preferred one of the amazing posters with a bit of spot gloss...

ANY of those would have been a million times better than whats offered.
Think this is the first time I'm not going to bother with a steelbook due to the artwork - not at full price anyway.
shame, as the movie was excellent.

ah well, on the plus side, I'll save meself a few quid by waiting for a reduction on the steel or amery versions

I would have loved that poster art. Been praying for it since I saw the posters and the movie.

What does someone have to do to host a group buy?
I'm a fairly new member but am willing to host a UK GB if mods allow it

I seem to be permanently in the camp that hates poster art for steelbooks. That's why I like the Mondo steels, as they always stylise the themes of the movie and create something original. Save the poster art for the amaray.

I think the art is almost Saul Bass-like, perfectly in keeping with the twisted, sociopathic nature of Gyllenhalls character in the film. And the camera as the eye is a bit obvious, but again very thematically accurate.

I think I know which art Saul Bass would have preferred! But fair point, each to their own. On this occasion you get what you want. The rest of us just have to wait and hope :)
