Although studioCanal steelbooks are mostly matte finish
In my opinion lot of them still look good there not poor quality matte finish except the Rambo steelbooks they were poor and could have been a lot better in terms of artwork and using older discs when upgraded ones are available with better extras and picture quality

Rush Steelbook is a beauty for example
The jcards most have been nice

I have this Steelbook on pre order with AmazonUK from day one and was a bargain price

Yep Rush is one of the exceptions Paul. I had this on order for inital price but i just decided to cancel it. Ive been let down lately with buying some steels. Ive decided to be more picky now in what I buy.

French version for comparison

Full Artwork:

Prefer the French one tbh
Amazon.de has the same artwork but without the spine the wrong way round and the FSK sticker is removable - so it might be one to go for over the French version if you prefer the plane design, the downside is however it's released almost a month later than the other versions.

Thanks for the German version info, didn't realise they were getting one. I'm going to keep an eye on that one. Prefer the wrap around art and spine up the right way :D

I'm not a huge fan of either versions to be honest, but the ridiculously big/unrealistic windows (they're actually smaller on the opposite side of the plane, which makes no sense) and the upside down spine on the French one is what made me go with the UK one in the end.

I'm with Noodles on the windows. I pre-ordered early, otherwise I'd be waiting for a price drop before I bought this.

This photo doesn't really show much unfortunately, but a friend on Facebook got their copy today...

That looks quite nice, looks a bit like the Taken steelbook with the silver background. The film is also very good, thought it would be another bad Hitchcock on a plane rendition like 'Flight Plan' but was subsequently proved wrong.
