No as you already paid Vat and was a purchase paid for when UK was still in EU customs Union and EU Single market
Purchases paid before 11 PM on December 31st
UK 2020 was still in EU custums Union so do not count under the new rules even if item is not dispatched or delivered until after January 1st 2021

New rules apply to purchases paid for after 11 PM on December 31st 2020

Only if postal provider when delivering goods looks for payment then yes you would need to provide proof as to when goods was paid for
Customs would then have to refund you any payments taken but that would only apply if goods ordered already included Vat and was paid before 11PM on December 31st 2020
