Ordered from Zavvi, Amazon takes too long these days an now that Zavvi has improved their packaging it is really a no brainer as I am racking up points with all the recent Steels I have bought through them.

I'd bet that's just what they say generally as that's the region for the UK, whereas Amazon might actually check the region code for the particular disc. If it's listed elsewhere as region free, then it probably is. Might be best waiting for confirmation though.

yea I hear you...I dont want to risk it...Ill buy a cheap steel that Im wanting to get ...like troy as amazon list it at region free...

I was emailing Zavvi about the region coding and provided a link to troy from amazon.uk and they still say there is region B ...but ill risk $15 shipped to the US to see if thats true

More than likely they'll just say region B to cover their backs because they haven't actually checked the product in question. I'd be quite confident but as you say do a test buy with something cheaper.

Zavvi canceled. That's my last 3 steelbooks sourced from Sainsbury's. Their pricing is hard to resist.

Their packaging is top notch aswell.

Have sainsburys changed their packaging? Last time I ordered and it arrived in a cardboard mailer but it was a few months ago. If they have I will have to start ordering from them on a few steels :D

Nah, my copy of Django arrived the other day in a cardboard mailer, still no damage though!

there will be no difference between the steelbooks, whether you order from zavvi, amazon, or sainsbury's. this is a general release and all UK retailers will get the same steel.

and anyways, the region code listing on any retailer's website tells us virtually nothing these days.
