Aforementioned the new packaging is designed to fit Large Letter as new rule says the package must slide in the scale without getting stuck. which is almost impossible with the thicker foam.

This means Zavvi are saving at least 1.50 per package. However this doesn't do any good w.r to overseas shipping. If Zavvi wants to save on postage they should start charging correct price for overseas customers instead of us paying the subsidy.

Zavvi arent saving £1.50 each package :hilarious:

They dont pay retail royal mail costs, do you think someone goes down the post office with 1000's of them? They slap prepaid labels on every package as they have a contract with royal mail.

My oblivion wont be shipped until monday as i used amazon, super saver delivery :(

I realized I had one too many on order of this and the amazon system wouldn't allow me to cancel. Went on chat, and one of their reps got the extra cancelled for me. This is why amazon is one of the best retailers and it's a darn shame they don't get as many steelbook exclusives in the UK.

Of course they get discounts but they are saving a similar percentage difference so it's a valid point.

The point is still a valid one though, if Zavvi changed their frankly ridiculous international shipping rates they wouldnt have to scrimp on the packaging. Ive yet to receive anything in Zavvis 'new' packaging but if it is poor thats just another reason to switch my non exclusive orders over to Amazon, which seems to be happening more and more anyhow due to Zavvis prices compared to everyone else. If you are an online retailer, your number one priority should be to get your product to your customer in a satisfactory condition, if that means the cost of shipping is higher its a cost that has to be factored in your pricing, surely the cost of processing and replacing damaged items far outweighs the cost of better packaging in the first place?

What's the cheapest I can pick up the US blu ray of this?anybody any ideas?

Cheapest Amaray is probably $19.99 at Walmart.
Metalpak is $22.99 at Walmart

Steelbook is available from Zavvi for about $32.50 shipped, if I remember correctly.

EDIT: Sorry, I just saw that you are in the UK. Try Amazon.com.

can someone explain to me the issue between the audio differences of this release and the US release? i see both 7.1 on the us release and the UK j-card, so what is the "isolated track" differences you guys are talking about, sorry for the noob question

Isolated M83 Score (HD): The film's isolated score, presented in 24-bit/96kHz Dolby TrueHD 5.1 surround.

Yeah its the score only playing without dialog. The 7.1 audio is the same in all versions. This is usually not a big deal, but the score by M83 is awesome.
