Oklahoma tornado

Heart breaking .The response by the Emergency Services and ordinary people that are dealing with thire own loss has got to have saved even more lives. I so hope that more people are safe under the wreckage.

My thoughts and love are with everyone affected my heart goes out to anyone having suffered a bereavement in this disaster.

Awful news my heart goes out to everyone affected by this more so to the parents of those children that got killed in school truly heartbreaking hope the world can help this community in this time of sadness.

prayers go out to you all.

you guys get any tornados in Europe?

We do occasionally. Most of them are so small they don't make the news. There was quite a big one in italy a year or so ago I think. I've personally only seen one. I was on the beach in Great Yarmouth in Norfolk when a 400ft tall waterspout popped up out at sea. Can't have been more than a mile or two away, with golf ball sized hail.

It's now being reported that the death toll is considerably less than originally reported, but there were still many people including children killed in this terrible natural disaster. My thoughts are with those who lost their loved ones in this tragedy.

I think there was one in Italy two weeks ago that caused some noticeable damage.

I hadn't heard the death toll had gone up again, but considering the shear devastation it's amazing anyone survived.

Just seen an amazing interview with an old lady who had lost her dog during the storm, and the tv crew spotted the poor thing in the rubble. The joy on her face when she realised he was still alive was really moving.

who knows maybe conflicting reports but last night they were saying 46 dead before I went to sleep over here.

Crazy enough I will be driving through tornado alley all Thursday this week.

You're not going to the Chelsea v Manchester City exhibition match on friday, are you? ^^

UK news were reporting earlier that the death toll had been revised down from 91 to 24. Not sure if that is still accurate. Apparently some people may have been reported dead twice so it's all very confusing.

Another one hit Oklahoma, now claiming at least 16 dead. Among them where stormchasers Tim Samaras, his son Paul Samaras, and longtime chase partner Carl Young. I remember them from the Discovery show: Stormchasers, great people. It's sad that they are gone now. Although i live in the Netherlands, my sister lives in Oklahoma West City, so it's a scary thing every time.
