yeah i think what's happening is people are buying multiple copies of steels now, particularly with the play steels at a usual 4,000 print run. i'm going to start getting into asian cinema, they make some really good movies, i hate when they remake them in hollywood like the ring, it just doesn't stand up to the originals.

battle royale and old boy will be my new starting point. im hoping they will release hero in steel form one day with the different versions included. anyway i will have to start researching my movies now.

Just re-watched the movie. I first saw it in 2004 and I'm glad I wasn't able to remember too much. I was blown away, what a perfect ending. Hands down, the best Korean movie of all time.

Min-sik Choi was undoubtedly perfect but Ji-tae Yu was killer in that role.

Cheers, Ive known about it and had it on my 'to watch list' for ages now, but only recently found out it was part of a trilogy, If I enjoy Oldboy I'll have to check out the other films

Mate you should preorder now IMHO. You can always cancel or when you forgot sell on eBay for at least twice a price. I hassited only once with Watchmen and yesterday had to pay 21£ on eBay. So that is just my advice, but its yours choice...

+1 If there's anything I've picked up about collecting steelbooks, it's put in a preorder first and not to sit on the fence for too long.
