Note about the steelbook - no embossing / debossing due to the lettering being too close to the edge, but it will have a special finish on the neon lights to make them stand out.

One of those films I've just never got around to watching so decided to take the plunge, one question though, I know it's part of a trilogy of revenge films but do I need to see the first film before watching this? Are the three films connected? Or just 3 films with a revenge theme?

They are not connected, each movie stands by it's own. Have fun watching Oldboy! :scat:

Just 3 films with a revenge theme, Not connected at all.

Ordered. Is this linked in some way to Battle Royale? Just hear a few people talking about another film they want released to complete the collection.

The only real links are that they are both classed as World Cinema classics by film industry critics and that they both have remakes planned, although Battle Royal has been delayed further because of the new Hunger Games movie (which basically copied the concept). Some collectors may be starting a World Cinema collection at home so that could be why you've heard it mentioned?

On another note, I'm a little worried about this 'testing the water' type pricing going on. I guess if this one sells out quickly we can expect the next ones to be a little higher. Classic supply and demand i'm afraid ! :(
