No disrespect to the winner (I couldn't have done better) but I prefered a few others but I would've been buying this either way.
It's definitely an aquired taste. I think there were a few restless people in with me last night.
I didn't enjoy it quite as much as Drive but did moreso than VR but I thought both Drive and Valhalla Rising were better visually (Personally I haven't seen much better than VR visually).

Hope they polish the design a bit. Don't like the way you can see 'comic book style dots' on Gosling's face on the front. Just makes it look like a cheap print job! Also, the title looks like it's been designed on an 'Etch-a-sketch'!! Overall it looks very drab

Hmm, I'm undecided on the artwork. As it currently stands ill probably cancel although I expect a couple of chances to made to the artwork to make it look more professional. I'm just going to wait for Zavvi to announce it and then Ill decide.
Well that's a shock! I've seen so many better versions submitted. I don't even remember seeing this one. Well I will also be cancelling, front could of been so bright and vibrant like zestys.

Nice colours. Spine would certainly stand out on the shelf.
Nice alternative logo.
Bad points:
Flowers weren't really a semiotic in the film. They don't convey anything.
Front is strangely less vivid than the back.
The comic book print effect on Ryan's face doesn't really complement the floral pattern.
Unlike the rest of you I'm glad Zesty's wasn't picked, there is nothing unique and creative about copy & pasting from Google Images and not altering the image in any way. It might have looked nice to you, but none of it was his own work. It would have taken no more than 5 minutes.

Looks like the Studio rejected the best artworks as they are hell bent on cutting corners. Shame that the director is oblivious to good quality artwork that were inline with the theme by picking a lousy one.
There was so much awesome and colourful artwork submitted, yet a boring dull black design was chosen..... let the conspiracy theories start, hehe....

I quite like it despite the black. It suits the style of the film; neon & darkness.

God that's a poor choice compared to others! Zesty's and one two others stood out head and shoulders above the majority.
However if NWF picked this, then congrats to the winner... Obviously he saw seomthing in the design that complimented his film.

So, what happens now then? They put artwork inside that has nothing to to with the 'designer'??
They leave it blank like Drive??
Might just cancel this after all until I see pics of the product. Can't imagine it will sell out, especially with that design now.
Wow! Absolutely loving the artwork! Perfectly matches the movie and isn't utterly generic either.
