Seen this on Friday (release) and going again tomorrow.

Hope it gets a sequel its like a hardcore mix of Transformers/Godzilla kind of thing....

Looks like Studios will start distributing Steelbooks in the Cinema instead of making us wait.

That is a good idea, give away steelbooks at the cinema ready for the blu ray release, it would defo make me go the cinema more

I saw this in 2D and thought it was good. My friend saw it in 3D and said the 3D did nothing for the film and wished he'd just seen it in 2D to save the extra money. That being said, I'm fine if it doesn't include the 3D version. Hoping the US gets a steel though and they've been including the 3D versions quite a bit lately.

Saw this in 2D last night & really enjoyed it.
Nothing that will change the shape of the fantasy genre but just good fun, switch off your brain & enjoy 2 hours of giant robots & giant monsters knocking the stuffing out of each other.
Be interesting to see what the art is going to be like as there are so many options but a definite buy for me.

Went to see it yesterday and we thought it was too long. Lots of people around us were looking at the time on their watch. The theater was sold out and the air conditioning seemed like it wasn't powerful enough against the heat wave we are having here in Toronto. Right now its 33 degrees celcius (43 degrees celcius with humidex) or 91 degrees F (109 F with humidex).
Perhaps, when the movie comes out on Blu, it will grow on me after watching it again.
