Yes, they always have their finger on the pulse... but the pulse is up their own arse.
I'm sure the price will drop in time though, but it means their pre-orders will start off v-e-r-y s-l---o--w...

studios should fine major retailers for trying to sell their products @ such ridiculous prices, I know free market bla bla bla, but their price differs a lot from all other retailers

Now we also know what the prices for Zavvi exclusives would have been if they were for example Amazon exclusives. They're charging like 8-9 gbp more for a non-exclusive, so when they sell an exclusive for 18, it would probably have cost only 10 @ Amazon (which is realistic since that was also Play.com's price for their exclusives)

Mate, if you don't like their prices then instead of getting mad, just don't buy it.

Zavvi are always a bit loco with their prices. When they don't sell they have a sale akin to the one yesterday with Kill Bill, Taxi Driver, Evil dead etc. Look at how many exclusives of theirs sell out now. Hardly any. The more this happens the more people will catch on not to pre order and wait. Then Zavvi will have to act accordingly.

Getting mad on here won't change them. Take action.

As I've said before on other thread I have no love for Zavvi for a variety of reasons which is why I'm only giving them my business when I feel I really want something I can't get anywhere else (no spine slash jokes).

Blame Amazon. If they didn't have superior prices, packaging and customer service, everyone wouldn't flock there, gobble up all the copies, and force Zavvi to gouge desperate buyers looking for an option.

I have Prime so maybe they meant my delivery date is the 11th, because with Prime I should get it on release day.

That'll be delivery date , under supersaver. I have prime and it had 12th November (it will amended to the 11th nearer the time)
