Just a heads up. Hearing now that Warner UK in all their infinite wisdom has ditched the English DTS-MA 7.1 track in favour for the 5.1

Glad i cancelled mine. I'll get the US standard 3D version

This can not be true! Not in this day and age surely.

Apparently not

French and German dubs are DTS-MA 7.1, English track is DTS-MA 5.1 only

The US disc had both 7.1 and 5.1 English tracks as they were different mixes

They're not in my good books at the mo due to the UK Man of Steel missing bonus features and now this to rub salt in the wound

Yep....

I am pretty much done with Warner UK.

I stick to Warner US now for my blu's and the odd one from amazon.jp when it comes to steelbooks. :p

Shocked a lot of people here have 7.1 setup!
I doubt I will be able to afford a 7.1 setup anytime soon. I am just about to upgrade to a HD 5.1 setup ha ha!
So am sticking with amazon order.

I only use the tv speakers :hilarious: so it doesn't make much of a difference for me

I find the audio mix one of the most important parts of the film in all honesty (plot first obviously lol) so a the audio specs are always a USP for me.

If I were to use only the speakers on my 60ZT65 Plasma, it would be like hearing the audio mix through a straw.:hilarious: :hilarious:

7.1 ?? More like.... 11.2 :naughty: :D

I completely agree but im a student and only watch films in my bedroom, not only would i be hated if i had a 7.1 sound system :hilarious: ive only just bought myself a good tv. Mybe in the future ill get myself a little sound system but i doubt anything over 5.1. I do feel sorry for the people who were looking forward to watching it with anything higher than a 5.1 sound systen though.

Not too fussed about it losing the 7.1 as I only have 5.1 so it's good enough for me, however it's bloody annoying that they're dropping audio tracks and extras here and there (MoS)

Im not fussed on the 5.1 either. I recently bought a £1400 new panny 3d tv and the sound has lovely rich sound with nice bass. Ive never been one for listening to movies really loud or through a hi fi system.

I like to chill and relax whilst watching movies

Without wanting to go too much off-topic I wouldn't be without my home cinema now. I couldn't watch a film just through TV speakers
