Amazon emailed me with estimated arrival for tomorrow and also have me a price promise refund so I got it for £17.50, Bargain! :naughty:

£29.94 at Amazon now!!! EEK!

That's 3rd party sellers for you....

I e-mailed Amazoin about the delayed by a day parcel and they gave a months extension to prime (which will cost them more than save me anything :D) . The other parcel is now 2 days overdue....

Anyone else get the problem where in the first Jaeger vs. Kaiju scene, the 3D becomes slightly misaligned causing eye uncomfort and is almost headache inducing? It lasted almost the entire scene and is extremely annoying, out of almost 200 3D Blu-rays I've only ever seen this happen once or twice

Can anyone else confirm this?

I just checked it on my Samsung with active glasses and did not get this problem. I can't think why it would affect you and not me unless your eyes did not adjust in time to the picture moving faster. I did have this problem with one scene in Gravity at the cinema the other day, I always wonder if it's my eyes struggling with the 3D effect or it's the 3D not set up properly.

I watched this last night and didn't have that problem. Feel for you though as the 3D in this really adds to the movie.

Mine just turned up.. I really like the whole package with this, the artwork is great, especially the inside art plus you get 3D, 2D, bonus feature disc and UV code.. Couldn't ask for more (except losing the big 3D on the front lol). :D

I just got the notice it was finally dispatched. Very convient for Amazon UK since they told me to give them 48 hours. I was in the middle of contacting them and when I was just about to press send I got the notice it was shipped. Pretty disappointing though since it's saying the delivery date isn't until next Wednesday.

Mine was despatched last Sat and the delivery date is NEXT MONDAY (Nov 18th) Over a week??? Usually only takes about 2 days. Thought I might get to watch it this weekend let alone this week. WTF? :(

Not impressed.

This happens when they use Royal Mail instead of An Post for delivery
Delivery estimate: 13 Nov 2013
1 package via An Post

I got delivery Today was An Post they used

I had a few Pre-Orders recent were they used Royal Mail and expected Delivery changed to the Following Monday Week after original release date and would not arrive at earliest the Thur/Fri before there expected delivery date or would not arrive till the following Mon/Tue/Wed/Thur/Fri

I contacted Them to complain about late delivery and asked them to tell warehouse staff to remember Rep Of Ireland they should be using An Post not Royal Mail

All my Amazon Pre-Orders in last 3 Weeks have been An Post except 1 order they used Royal Mail and An Post packages arrived as usual on the Tue (The day after release date) :scat:while Royal Mail package did not arrive till The Friday following week:angry:

Go to your account check your order details and see who they used for Delivery it will say Royal Mail when it should have been An Post (1 package via An Post) and not used (1 package via Royal Mail)
You end up wondering if its lost in the post when they use Royal Mail

Note this only applies to Pre-Orders from Amazon and Amazon in Stock items
Rep Of Ireland delivery should always be package via An Post
If they keep doing this contact them to remind them especially with Temp staff for Christmas been used
Note Third party sellers will always use Royal Mail

The Steelbook looks great and was a blind buy not seen the film but all reviews i have seen so far say this release is very good

Thanks. I'm going to get onto them. It was sent via Royal Snail alright. A week after release is a f***ing joke!

I spoke to someone via online chat last night after it hadn't turned up. And there response was just give it a couple of days!!
Prime member as well. They weren't interested to hear about that or the reduction in price, I got charged £21!!!

No it's definitely a disc problem because for this scene only and one of the shots of the father and son on the snowy beach even when you take off the glasses you can see that the two images are not side by side as the right image is a couple of millimeters too high. So according to you guys this is just a problem with my disc only? Cause that's a weird problem to happen to just one disc.

Well mine posted last Saturday with a Monday delivery date and still not arrived ... straight onto customer chat and got a full refund instantly and £10 goodwill on top.
Just been into HMV and got it mint for £17.99 .... got to return the other steel if it turns up !

That's odd, 2 weeks ago i reported a package had not arrived by one day and they had a replacemjent out to me in a couple of hours.

I never use the online chat function, always a stern , not too whiney, e-mail .

My phrasing was that it was not unreasonable to expect a pre-ordered item on release day especialy as a prime customer .

You should receive back the most apologetic e-mail ever.

I'm not impressed as well. Rather frustrated actually. I don't know what their problem was this time around but they dropped the ball. I've never had this occur before. Usually it's sent out right away. They still have given No explanation as to why it was delayed. I also don't understand why it took them exactly 48 hours to send it to me from when I first emailed them. The person told me that they moving mine along to get it out to me that day.not to thrilled with them. I don't mind waiting for a steel I just don't like being charged and then it just sitting there for 5 days before being sent out.

Amazon UK dispatched mine on November 9th, I pre-ordered it on October 14, maybe they fill orders in the order they were placed? Who knows? :(
