I've seen that happen when ordering from amazon.com and having the delivery made in the US but when the delivery was to an international address, all items from my order shipped together once the one product on pre-order became available.
It will cost them a lot to ship items internationally as they become available rather than grouping them... Then again I've never ordered from amazon.jp and they may proceed differently, as you pointed out.

I am not sure there is any, the run time on the North American version is 130mins and the Japanese is 130 mins. Thats what I was reading on BD
unless there is more on this release.. not sure..

Not only did I decide to go ahead and order while I have the chance figured since shipping for an additional one is only another ~$3 each went ahead and added the Dredd and Prometheus steelbooks to the order as well as I had been debating on them a few times already....
