The disc will be the same as the new US Special Edition

Here's something that's made me very happy. From the PR company -

Hi Matt,

I hope you are well, please find attached the press release for Pain & Gain. I am pleased to confirm that the UK release will feature the same extras as the US special edition release.

Kind Regards

Kerry

Latest update from Zavvi
Still waiting on finalised artwork.

The finishes are overall matte varnish, except for a spot UV gloss on Mark and Dwayne on the front cover.

There’s a pantone red on their names on the front cover, and emboss on the title treatment.

Confirmed as 1000 units only and from the traffic and questions we are getting, think this will only last a couple of days at the most before selling out.

I actually believe this to be horse crap. If you missed it, it's your own fault. I didn't secure that many, but I always get extras. There are companies (ie. amazon, ES) that limit the quantity that can be ordered. If a company wants to limit the amount that can be ordered, then they should do it at the time the item is live and available to be ordered. Going back and canceling already placed orders is simply bad business, and quite frankly adds to the list of reasons why zavvi is proving they aren't professional.

Just my two cents.

The cancellations do not effect me in any way, but I do agree that making a rule after-the-fact and cancelling already placed orders is an absolute terrible way to do business. All this being said, I'm very happy for the people that missed out on the first go around to have another chance to snag one up

Zavvi already have limit on all orders but with this release it some persons went to far with quantity ordered and was not fair on others wanting to place an order
I'm talking about orders above 5 and in this case as it was a limited release of only 1000
End of the day other customers should had had a chance to order especially as it was only listed for about 10-15 min

Terms and conditions
The products sold on the Website are not for re-sale or distribution. You are limited to a purchase of 5 items of any one product. We reserve the right to cancel orders and/or suspend accounts where we believe products are being ordered in breach of this provision.

EDIT - For the record, I have ordered above 5 copies before and sent Zavvi and email asking if that was OK. I got a response stating that my orders were fine, and they have no limits as to what can be ordered. I do see in a previous post a quote from zavvi's site stating a limit of 5. If that is truly the case, then zavvi needs to get their employees heads out of their ***es once and for all. Most unprofessional company I've dealt with.

Sounds like someone ordered a few too many :hilarious:
