Latest update from Zavvi

Still waiting on finalised artwork.

The finishes are overall matte varnish, except for a spot UV gloss on Mark and Dwayne on the front cover.

There’s a pantone red on their names on the front cover, and emboss on the title treatment.

Confirmed as 1000 units only and from the traffic and questions we are getting, think this will only last a couple of days at the most before selling out.

I agree, they usually make the timeframes known, so being that there is such a big thing about this i would hope the same

They never stick with what they promise and will easily increase the print run if they see there is more demand. That's not how collecting works. It's just a big joke to them.

If you go back to the posts by apsmith21 earlier today, Zavvi are cancelling bulk orders (no confirmation as to what constitutes a bulk order yet), and then making the cancellations available for purchase.

There will be an announcement on this thread when this will be taking place.

The 1000 print run remains in place

Great news for those who missed this one . I order 3 of them i hope they not cancel mine order so i can sell or trade 2 with profits or get steels which i missed before ( like Thor or first Iron man) so how i can get rare steels for trade ? Buy them for 100 £ ? Or be patient and wait for opportunity like this one and hope somone will trade with me. Because nobody gonna sell me any Thor steel for 30 £ which is double price

Zavvi customer service are getting better especially if you contact them by private message using Facebook

Note don't bother using there own website you only get a automated response

This is part of message I got from Zavvi (I fully understand the frustration caused and I will certainly pass your comments on to the appropriate team)

They have acted and good news that they have listened and other customers now will have a chance to place an order
End of the day its good news for collectors who missed out and we all win with this

Zavvi have also told me this
Purchasing multiple copies of any product we have a restriction of 5 at the most anything higher is classed as B2B.

My complaint was only to help out those who missed out
I will be happy for those who now get a chance to place a order when its goes live again
Note I don't know if they will introduce a lower restriction with this to be below 5 qty as its was only bulk orders they are cancelling and not genuine customers orders only bulk were cancelled

Zavvi should be cancelling if count is above 5 as it violates their policy. There was no mention about restrictions in the listing. So if they are going to cancel anything above 1 then it doesn't make sense.
