Latest update from Zavvi

Still waiting on finalised artwork.

The finishes are overall matte varnish, except for a spot UV gloss on Mark and Dwayne on the front cover.

There’s a pantone red on their names on the front cover, and emboss on the title treatment.

Confirmed as 1000 units only and from the traffic and questions we are getting, think this will only last a couple of days at the most before selling out.

Zavvi already have limit on all orders but with this release it some persons went to far with quantity ordered and was not fair on others wanting to place an order
I'm talking about orders above 5 and in this case as it was a limited release of only 1000
End of the day other customers should had had a chance to order especially as it was only listed for about 10-15 min

I wonder how many Zavvi cancelled, as this is still available even after the madness

Some ordered way to many a lot above 5 as in large bulk orders
This was not in fairness to others and that's why action was needed with this release

I'm very glad if my complaint has have helped others get a chance to order
I may have gotten some negative on this on Saturday from some
but I wanted this not just for me but for others also

What i don't understand is why we've not heard from anyone yet who had some of their copies cancelled.

Maybe because it wasn't all HDN members over ordering?

Plus i feel for the members abroad....this steel sitting in Royal Mails postal system until the Christmas/ New Year backlog is cleared :E

I'm more inclined to think it was the HDN Team working with Zavvi who had more influence on this situation.

I'm puzzled as to why Zavvi state in their T&Cs no more than 5, yet they do not enforce this via coding on their order page. As mentioned above, either enforce the rule, or don't have it.

Those people who had their orders cancelled - was the entire order cancelled ? Or down to 5, or down to 1 ? Were they even informed, or is there a potential that some people don't know their orders have been cancelled ?

By not enforcing their own T&Cs this has been a situation entirely of Zavvi's making. Kudos to them (and HDN) for resolving it, however I firmly believe it could have been avoided in the first place.
