Yeah it’s pretty poor. Not the worst matte I’ve seen though
Also the art is very reflective when taking a photo. The camera was acting like it was a high res vest and just kept reflecting really bright and washed out. Had to keep refocusing to steady it out. Never had that before. So the photos ain’t the best

Definitely don’t think it’s as bad as people have been making it out, I think it’s a nice steelbook
The placement of Jodie Fosters face against the cut out of the title is really off putting for me. It slices about a fifth of her face off on the right hand side. I looks odd to my eyes and don't know why whoever designed it didn't shrink the original still to fit the entire face in before adding the title. The sizes are off.
The other actors names in the middle. Does make it look like Foster has a tache.
Just me maybe. Looks whack a doodle unbalanced.
If the intention was to mirror the films gloomy cinematography onto the steelbook, the whole steel needed a good old proper gloss slap up all over.
I actually like the back of the thing. The film reel shots look good. Maybe because it's slightly more colourful.

It's still a PET slip design bodged onto a steelbook, definitely a missed opportunity.
I wasn’t happy with those photos so I gave it another go. Came out much better this time around. I’ve edited my previous post
Oh for me, its definitely deserves it's roasting for the wasted opportunity alone but it's certainly far from the worst steel so far this year.
I watched it this evening. Transfer is pretty good. Film was as great as I remembered. Especially the dastardly Dwight Yoakam in his balaclava. Makes me laugh. I'd forgotten how good he was.
