Actually, and I am just making numbers up here, but it is probably a 50/50 split between region free and region locked for steelbooks
I think this last round from Canada was Region A, including all the Disney Iron Packs.
Most steelbooks from France are Region B
Germany releases mostly Region Free but does have region B as well
If it really matters to you, you want to open the steelbook and watch the film, it is best to check with members on the site when looking at a specific title

Mine came in yesterday, initially i didnt love the art on the Steel but once i had it in had that all changed.
one thing that got on my nerves was that freakin Security tag (you know, that little black magnet strip thing) was stuck on the disc itself!!
it took me a few mins before i could take it off safely and give teh movie a test run. Thankfully all was just fine.

Buy the Steelbook and grow to love the movie. XD
This is one of my favourite movies so it was a easy choice for me.
I've bought the Twilight Blu-ray Steelbook even though I HATED the movie.

Just picked this up off of ebay for less than $7! Got it for $15 with free shipping, then used ebay bucks I had against the purchase....lets see if inet actually ships this one (unlike the Hanna SB)
Hmm, i ordered Hanna from inet last week and got in 2 days, didn't have a problem

Got this one in the mail today from inet from ebay. Listed as brand new, and it was still sealed, but the cellophane was all torn, and the SB itself has a few small dents on hte right side, and few paint chips at the edges..... overall kind of disappointed with the condition, but hey, for $7, still worth it. Nice SB too....nice artwork on the inside and back. And I like the info card on the back since it's cut a little smaller than the HMV ones, and It fits into the SB without cutting down or folding in half.
