Basically, the first UK release just had DD5.1 (no lossless audio), and the subsequent release had lossless audio but the multichannel track had a pitch issue (I'm told not severe, but noticable when compared to the 2.0 track).

So, if you could play the disc and (1) pop the info/display up & verify that the multichannel English is DTS MA HD ( or, less likely, TrueHD) - but not Dolby Digital.
Then (2) switch between the 2-channel & multi-channel audio & let us know if you hear a difference in pitch.

Much obliged!

Mine arrived today but haven't opened it yet
The back of the box says
5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio/Spanish with English Subtitles

Audio : LPCM 2.0 and DTS HD 5.1 SPANICH !!! NO ENGLISH AUDIO !
For the "difference in pitch", I'm not sure to understand, but I don't note anything.

Sorry, I meant Spanish... just a typo, my apologies. :)

As far as pitch: frequency. In other words, does it sound "higher" or "lower" than the other track.

If you don't notice, that's good news. Thanks!

Finally received this beauty in the mail today. Been wanting to see Pan's Labyrinth in person ever since the art was posted.

It looks amazing, the only thing I would change is gloss. But the art is otherwise very nice. Even the back is... well... I'm looking at the front.

Ok all, I have this in hand, so I can verify that the pitch issue is fixed. Audio options are DTS-MA HD 5.1 and LPCM 2.0, and there is no difference in pitch when A/B'd between them.

Also, disc art is identical to the Optimum Dolby Digital release, so file that one away if you own it...

Thanks for the verification.

Will pick this up when it's £6.99.

I had this on order, but because I had tons of other steels on order I decided cancel last minute. Went to reorder but now it appears to have sold out. I always liked the look of this.

Yep something does add up about these Zavvi print runs. This and From Dusk Till Dawn sold out very quickly. Yet other supposed 4k print runs are being dropped under a tenner to shift them.

from dusk til dawn was different, much more popular film and the artwork people were going nuts for it at how good it was, everybody hated the artwork on this
