Not bad, but not great

My pet hate is when the spot gloss the smallest part of the image on a steel, it infuriates me

I know it makes sense if they wana do just spot gloss with this example and case it will be the ship but it's still such a huge waste.

Will "possibly maybe" buy on a big ol' drop - and I mean big

It could have been an absolute killer if it´s in full gloss, but even like this is still much much better then the one with faces. My opinion. Gonna wait for a price drop anyway. Thanks @cooey for this review.

I don't think I'm going to get the time buddy unfortunately although I'd say the J-Card is usually pretty accurate

Not a fan of the cops but must say I do appreciate music only unboxings.

Most elegant minimalist artwork different enough to the less appealing (for me) faces edition to warrant purchases of both if that's your pleasure.

Very stylish and clean title treatment, no cast names or unnecessary print / images on the front that look out of place, de-bossing on both sides, homogeneous colour and style with the three main objects in the artwork mirroring each other approximately in both size and shape.

Zero finish with spot gloss would have been for me the ideal finish for this steelbook as it would have brought out the main artwork and would still have given the background area of space a nice sheen . . . at the same time keeping it in the background where it belongs.
A full gloss coat would not be able to achieve such subtlety.

In conclusion: a winning classy steel although would have even better in a Zero finish (like the 2nd U.K. release of INDEPENDENCE DAY and the U.K. / Euro / Asia / Aus I D: RESURGENCE release):-

Yes, please, can u confirm audio & subtitles on both discs?

It is confusing the back of the simple UK 2D edition shows some languages, and then on the J-Card of steelbook those same languages are missing.

The lack of languages could be referring to the 3D disc.

This looks correct for the 2D disc.

It looks like ITA/SPA are not on the 3D disc (I don't know about spanish track, but Sony decided not to release italian track on Passengers 3D discs at all).
2D specs are correct, same disc as ITA/SPA/SCAND and others
